The Cadillac CT6 was just introduced for the 2016 model year. Now, the stunning flagship sedan is becoming even more versatile with the addition of a CT6 Plug-in Hybrid model. This new fuel-efficient model will be coming to DeVoe Cadillac this spring.
Cadillac has said that drivers can expect a range of about 31 miles using electric power only. Once that is depleted, the CT6 will have a total driving range of more than 400 miles. With a fully charged battery, the CT6 should get an EPA-estimated 62 MPGe.*
“The CT6 is a technological showcase throughout, and by far the lightest car in its class, making it an ideal platform for electrification,” said Cadillac President Johan de Nysschen. “In the CT6, Cadillac presents a new formula for prestige luxury. The advanced Plug-In system is a key addition, providing a combination of exceptional fuel economy, crisp acceleration and strong electric-driving range.”
Powered by a both a high-output 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and a Two Motor Electric Variable Transmission (EVT) system, the CT6 Plug-In delivers a combined 335 horsepower and 432 lb-ft of torque. With this power, the CT6 can accelerate to 60 mph in as little as 5.2 seconds.
