Consumer Reports recently conducted a study to find the most reliable car brands. Essentially, this study was conducted to find out which cars spend the least amount of time in the repair shop, saving you, the consumer, time and money.
As always, the friendly folks over at Consumer Reports wanted to be as thorough as possible. So, in an effort to provide the public with the most accurate results, Consumer Reports analyzed over 1,000,000 (yes – one million) cars. According to Jake Fisher, Director of auto testing at Consumer Reports, “We use that data to figure out which cars have broken down more than average and which ones have been doing better than average.”
After much testing and number crunching, Cadillac came out on top as the most reliable American car brand, beating out GMC, Chevy, and Ford.
