Rumor has it that Cadillac is expected to reveal its next-gen SRX SUV at the LA Auto Show this fall, which will be one of eight new vehicles the company will unveil before 2020.
Its new SUV is expected to be monikered ‘XT5,’ stemming from the combination of Crossover Touring (XT) and a number that indicates the vehicle’s size within the company’s lineup.
“We are pretty confident that in our next generation of car; we take and leverage what already has been an outstanding product success for us, and infusing it with more advanced design, particularly newer technologies, we will be highly competitive,” Cadillac President Johan de Nysschen said. Based on previous announcements from the ‘American Import’ company, we’re willing to bet the XT5 will also offer a hybrid or plug-in option.
